…and still walk!
The Feetbus is a box with bicycle wheels that looks like a bus. As soon as people see it they get into the game and often rush to catch a ride.
We welcome aboard a group of 15-20 passengers who suddenly become the entertainment for everyone around them. They indicate with their arms when turning, ‘beep’ when reversing, and sometimes burst into song and perform acts of silliness facilitated by the driver. They are entertained and they entertain.
The absurdity of this spectacle sends people into fits of laughter and brings an atmosphere of fun and silliness to any event. In our banter we play with environmental themes, touting the environmentally friendly nature of this zero-emission vehicle.
The Feetbus can be used to make a point about the benefits of walking and connecting with fellow humans. All of this is done with an absurd irreverent tone, through laughter we let our message and our meaning play its way to our audience.
